Five people have been taken to hospital after an early morning smash on the M2 between Chatham and Cuxton this morning.
The emergency services were called out to the London-bound carriageway shortly after 7am, after three cars crashed.
It is understood no-one suffered any serious injury, but the accident resulted in two lanes of the motorway being closed as a result.
All lanes have now been cleared.
A spokesman for Kent Police said: “Kent Police was called at 7.04am following a three-vehicle collision on the M2 London-bound between Junctions 3 and 2.
