A drunken football fan threatened people at a railway station after a Gillingham FC match, a court heard.
Luke Parris, 33, was intoxicated when he started making threats of violence to passengers and other football supporters at the town's railway station after full-time at about 5.30pm on September 3.
He was charged with being drunk and disorderly after the match between Gills and Swindon Town ended in a 0-0 draw.
Parris, of Fosters Avenue, Broadstairs, was arrested after British Transport Police (BTP) were called to the station after receiving reports he was causing a disturbance and threatening people.
Officers from Kent Police were also at the scene, and BTP tweeted the next day that a Gillingham football fan was "goading fellow supporters into disorder".
Parris, appeared at Margate Magistrates’ Court on Thursday where he pleaded guilty to the offence.
Magistrates placed him on a conditional discharge for 24 months meaning if he commits any new offences during that time, he would face sentencing for both.
He was also ordered he pay a victim surcharge of £26 and £85 court costs.
