A teenage boy sustained facial injuries after a group of men targeted him and his friends
The incident happened at Jackson's Field, Rochester yesterday at around 5.30pm.
A group of boys aged 14-15 years old were stopped by a group of four men.
Allegedly, the men tried to get the boys to buy cigarettes and when they refused the men blocked their way and did not allow them to leave.
The boys reported the men had demanded they hand over their mobile phones and punched one 14-year-old boy in the face, giving him a nose bleed and bruising before stealing a bag and running from the scene.
Police spokesman James Walker said: "At present no arrests have been made and officers are conducting ongoing inquiries to establish the full circumstances."
