00:01, 28 September 2016
An animal charity is offering free health checks and MOTs for dogs across the Towns.
The PDSA is offering a free check to assess the health and happiness of dogs, based on diet, environment, behaviour and health.
Vet nurse Melissa Teatum will check eyes, ears, weight and general condition and pooches can also have their nails clipped and ears cleaned for free, but donations are welcome.
Medway Council will also offering free microchipping.
Melissa said: “These events are open to everyone but I’d encourage anyone who attended our previous events to come along. I’d love to see how people are getting on with our personalised action plans, we want to keep tails wagging.”

- Today, Wednesday, at Luton Recreation Ground, Capstone Road, Chatham, 10am-5pm
- Tomorrow, Thursday, at Beechings Playing Field, Lower Twydall Lane, Gillingham, 10am to 5pm
