A man who was shot in the leg through his front door is still in hospital more than a month after the incident.
The injured man, who has not been named, was shot in the legs at his home in Weybridge Close, Lordswood, at about 9pm on Friday, January 29.
Two people arrested in connection with a shooting a few days later, were released pending further inquiries and detectives are treating the shooting as an attempted murder.
The pair, a 35-year-old man and a 21-year-old woman, have now been released on bail until Tuesday.
Police have refused to release any other details about the injured man, who had to undergo surgery.
This week police revealed there has not been any further arrests in relation to the incident.
A spokesman for the force said at this time, there was no more information he could release which would assist the investigation.
However, he did say officers continue to appeal for witnesses.
Anyone with information should call DC James Greenidge on 01634 792209 quoting crime reference XY/003836/16.
