A garage roof collapsed in a fire thought to have been started accidentally.
Firefighters were called to Elmfield in Twydall, Gillingham, at about 1pm today.
A fire service spokesman said: "Two fire engines attended and crews wearing breathing apparatus used a main jet and a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire, which had caused the garage roof to collapse.
"There were no reported injuries.
"The fire is believed to have started accidentally as a result of several batteries being on charge."
The crews left after about 40 minutes.
