The stage is up and there's a real sense of anticipation in the air as Rochester gets ready to host the Castle Concerts.
The shows are always a highlight of the Medway calendar and this year is no exception with two of the gigs, Will Young and Status Quo, having sold out swiftly.
The gigs begin on Wednesday with veteran rockers Quo making their third appearance in Rochester with singer/songwriter and Pop Idol winner Will Young (pictured) taking to the stage the next evening.
Friday is the turn of girl band The Saturdays, who will be backed by Britain’s Got Talent champions Diversity.
And the season is rounded-off with the Castle Proms featuring the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra with the Hertfordshire Chorus, soprano Camilla Kerslake and four-piece band Blake.
Watch out for extensive coverage from the concerts in the Medway Messenger on Monday and next Friday.
If you take any good photographs at the concerts, why not share them with us at www.medwaymessenger.co.uk (good quality jpegs please). We also welcome short reviews - did you enjoy the show? Was it worth the ticket price? Let us know via the same email address.
