Teenage girl in Chatham high street knife drama

Police have confirmed the suspect arrested following knife drama in a busy high street was a 17-year-old girl.
An officer stopped the girl in Chatham High Street shortly after 1.30pm yesterday.
She is alleged to have been carrying a knife.
A police spokesman said: "The girl was arrested on suspicion of possession of a bladed article and has since been released pending investigation."
