Men in court after gun and live ammo seized in Rochester by National Crime Agency

Two men have appeared in court after a gun and live bullets were seized in a night-time operation.
An armed National Crime Agency unit descended on Rochester on Monday.
The officers helped by a helicopter scoured the historic town into the early hours of Tuesday.
They found the gun and several rounds of live ammunition after searching a vehicle and a property.
Five men were arrested and taken into custody.
Three were released under investigation.
However two, who were arrested in Gillingham, were charged with firearms offences.
Kristiyan Hristev, 30, a Bulgarian national living in Rochester, was charged with possession of ammunition and transferring a weapon - this includes selling, hiring, lending, or gifting it.
Kristiyan Romanov, 24, a Bulgarian national living in Gillingham, was charged with possession of a firearm and ammunition.
Both appeared before Medway Magistrates' Court yesterday.
They were remanded in custody to appear at Maidstone Crown Court on Thursday, January 2.
