Have you seen Adam Jarvis, from Strood, police are searching for him

Police say they are looking for a Strood man who was reported missing yesterday and could be in a distressed state.

Officers even conducted a search of woodland near Albatross Avenue, during the afternoon after Adam Jarvis, was reported missing.

Mr Jarvis, who is 40, was last seen shortly before 12.30pm yesterday and was wearing cargo shorts which are dark green/khaki or brown, was bare chested and wearing blue trainers.

He is about 6ft 1in, is of large build with short brown hair.

He also has shoulder to elbow length tribal tattoos on both arms.

As part of their efforts to find Mr Jarvis, officers conducted a search of woodland off Albatross Avenue, in Strood and cordoned off a section of the road there.

Several police cars were be seen at the location near some garages and part of the road has been taped off by officers.

Officers believe Mr Jarvis may still be in the Medway area and anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call Kent Police on 101 quoting 20-0582.
