A man has been taken to hospital in a serious condition after he was hit by a bus.
Priestfields in Borstal near Rochester is closed to traffic after the collision.
The crash happened just before 10.30am.
Paramedics and a ground team from the air ambulance attended.
The man has been taken to Kings College Hospital, in London, in what police have described as a "serious condition".
Officers have since confirmed his injuries were not life-threatening.
Witness, Lauren Barnes, said: "I was in my friends car on Priestfields, three cars away from the accident.
"We must have just missed it.
"I got out and walked as it was gridlocked with traffic.
"The person that was hit was on the floor shaking and had blood all over his head and face.
"He was given blankets and stayed that way until the ambulance arrived.
"The bus driver was in front of the bus with two people checking he was okay.
"I left the scene to go home with my 2 year old son - I didn’t want him seeing anything."
Officers remain at the scene and the road is cordoned off at the junction with Borstal Road.
Updates as we get them.
