Police helicopter called to a runaway suspect near Cuxton, Medway

A man has been arrested on suspicion of money laundering amid a search where the police helicopter was seen hovering above a motorway bridge.
Officers stopped a car just before 7pm last night at junction 2 of the M2 London bound.
One man in the vehicle ran off sparking a police search involving the chopper.
He has not been found.
Another man was arrested on suspicion of money laundering after a short search of the vehicle uncovered a quantity of cash.
The 22-year-old that was arrested remains in custody while inquiries are ongoing.
