Children were on the search for Easter eggs on a heritage trail with some sweet treats.

Upnor Castle opened its doors to visitors and invited them all to try and find the eggs hidden around the castle grounds.

Families were tasked with writing down where they found the different eggs.

Once guests had completed the trail, they won a small prize.

The trail continues throughout the school holidays.
