Person taken to hospital after collapsing in Rochester High Street

A person is in a serious condition after they collapsed in a high street.
Officers and paramedics were called to Rochester at around 10.15am following reports of a medical incident.
An ambulance service spokesman said the person was given emergency treatment at the scene and taken to hospital in a serious condition.
Fire crews were also called to assist.
The High Street was cordoned off by police between Costa and Morley's Bakers but it has since been reopened.
