House boat ravaged by fire at commercial premises in Main Gate Road, near Chatham Historic Dockyard

Firefighters tackled a house boat fire for two hours near a major naval attraction.
Crews were called to a vessel alight at a commercial premises in Main Gate Road in Chatham at around 4.45pm.
Four fire engines were in attendance at the scene which is close to but separate from Chatham's Historic Dockyard attraction.
Crews wearing breathing apparatus used hose reel jets, a main jet, and compressed air foam to extinguish the fire.
The blaze took two hours to get under control and around 30% of the house boat, which was on land at the time, was destroyed.
No casualties were reported and the cause is believed to have been accidental.
