A Londoner has been remanded in custody after 100 parcels were taken from a DPD delivery van just before Christmas.
Kevin Tandoh, of Styles Garden, Brixton, has been charged with one count of robbery.
Police say the courier was approached by two men in Kingswear Gardens, Strood, around 12.35pm on December 22.
They allegedly took his keys and drove away in the vehicle, which was later found just over a mile away in Windmill Street, Rochester.
More than 100 parcels are reported to have been stolen from inside.
Tandoh, 31, was arrested on Wednesday and appeared before Medway Magistrates’ Court yesterday where he was remanded in custody to appear before Maidstone Crown Court on February 11.
Inquiries to locate the remaining suspect are ongoing.
