Injured Chatham Town captain Brad Potter set to miss Cheshunt trip

Chatham skipper Brad Potter looks certain to be ruled out this weekend with a hamstring injury.
Player-manager Kevin Watson says he won’t take any chances with him for the Ryman League, Division 1 North trip to Cheshunt on Saturday.
Potter limped off early in the 1-1 draw against Maldon last Saturday and Watson (pictured) said: “He felt it tighten in training last Thursday and I don’t want to risk him aggravating it further.”
Defender Kes Metitri is set to return, while Matt Newman is another defensive option.
Chatham beat Cheshunt 4-0 last August, their third successive victory in an unbeaten start to the season, but Watson is unsure what to expect this time, with the Hertfordshire club 19th in the table having won only six of their 35 games.
“They are at the lower end of the table, and have a lot to fight for so I don’t think they will be easy opposition,” he said.
