Cyclist airlifted after being knocked off bike in Globe Lane, Chatham

A man has suffered serious injuries after being knocked off his bike in a busy town centre.
An ambulance crew was sent to Globe Lane, Chatham, just before noon today.
The cyclist was treated at the scene before being taken to Rochester Airport.
From there he was airlifted to King's College Hospital, south London, which specialises in head injuries.
Details about the man – his identity and age – are unknown at this time.
Police were seen to be blocking off the road near the Waterfront bus station.
