Inquest opens into death of man killed in motorbike crash in Medway City Estate

The inquest has opened into the death of a 36-year-old man who was killed on his motorbike on an industrial estate.
Lloyd Donovan from Gillingham left work on the Medway City Estate on October 30 on his motorbike.
As he approached a junction, another vehicle was coming towards him on the opposite side of the road.
The driver turned right across Mr Donovan's path. They collided and Mr Donovan, who worked as a HGV driver, was thrown from his motorcycle.
A post-mortem revealed he died as a result of his injuries including a traumatic brain injury following the crash, the hearing at Archbishop's Palace, Maidstone was told this morning.
Assistant Kent coroner James Dylan adjourned a full inquest until May 5.
