Invicta Dynamos’ winning streak came to an end at high-flying Romford on Sunday.
After winning their last four NIHL South Division 1 matches, the Mos lost 5-3 on the road to the Raiders.
Sunday’s defeat came after they had beaten Cardiff NIHL Devils 8-5 in Gillingham on Saturday with doubles from Callum Best, pictured, and Peter Vaisanen, together with efforts from Jack Tarczycki, Andy Smith, Arran Strawson and Harrison Lillis. The man-of-the-match was Andy Smith.
Dynamos were 2-1 behind against Romford after the first period but edged ahead 3-2, with goals from Jack Tarcyzcki, Callum Fowler and Justin Noble.
But Romford restored the lead at the end of the second period and kept ahead as the Dynamos failed to find the target in the third.
