Invicta Dynamos’ pre-season preparations continued last week with a further addition to the first-team squad.
The Dynamos have signed 18-year-old forward Joe Bliss, pictured, from Guildford Phoenix. Bliss is a former Dynamos junior who returns to the club after an impressive year in the Under-18s South Division 1.
Bliss has also played for Romford, with whom he was selected for the ENIHL School of Excellence, while last season his Guildford side stayed unbeaten as they won the league title with Bliss scoring 28 goals in17 outings.
He also registered 20 assists to give him a total of 48 points from the campaign, making him the club’s highest points scorer.
Speaking on the club’s official website, Invicta coach Kevin Parrish said: “After a few years away elsewhere it’s great to finally have Joe back with the Dynamos. He is an exciting prospect and his form in the Under-18s league last season shows what he is capable of.”
Meanwhile, 16-year-old defenceman Zach Sullivan, the youngest member of the squad, is staying with the club for another season.
Sullivan’s new contract, a full-time deal, means he joins Anthony Lennon, Jack Tarczycki, Tim Smith and Tom Dennis for next season’s defensive line-up.
