Invicta Dynamos coach Kevin Parrish admits not winning silverware feels weird, but targets return to glory next season

Invicta Dynamos coach Kevin Parrish says finishing the season without a trophy for the first time in almost a decade is a strange feeling but claims the silverware is only out on loan.
Dynamos struggled in the ENIHL Division 1 South’s regular season, finishing well adrift of champions Wightlink Raiders and giving themselves a tough schedule in the end-of-season play-offs.
They eventually bowed out at the semi-final stage against Wightlink, who went on to lose the final to Chelmsford Chieftains.
Parrish (pictured) said: "I went to watch Chelmsford beat the Isle of Wight and watched them celebrating with the silverware and it felt weird.
"To watch them with the champagne – it’s usually us with the champagne on ice. It’s always nice to end the season with some champagne.
"We have to look at it like we’ve lent it to them for a year but we want it back next season."
