Invicta Dynamos contemplate return for Dean Edmiston

Invicta head coach Kevin Parrish has revealed he could be about to bring Medway Bears legend Dean Edmiston back to Gillingham.
The former Great Britain international enjoyed several successful years at the Bears before moving to Scotland in the late 1990s but Edmiston is now moving back down south and has touched base with Parrish about a possible move back to the Silver Blades ice rink.
Parrish said: "There’s been rumours but nothing is signed and sealed. Dean’s rung me up and he’s interested in training and playing for us. He played in the Andy Martin memorial game and looked incredibly fit so we’ll see how he fits in.
"Sometimes an older head helps, whether it be on the rink or in the dressing room.
"He’s played for Great Britain and in the States and he is a superb player. He’s kept himself fit and is in fantastic shape, so if we get a couple of injuries or a downturn in form, you never know.
"We haven’t made him an offer and we’re not about to rush out and make one.
"He’ll be there Sunday so the rumours are bound to start again but nothing is certain. Maybe he will play for us or do a bit of coaching, it’s hard to say."
The Mos will be looking to consolidate top spot when they entertain Bracknell Hornets on Sunday (5.15pm).
