Invicta Dynamos secure back-to-back wins in weekend double-header

Michael Timms fired a hat-trick as Invicta Dynamos completed a perfect weekend double-header with a 10-1 drubbing of Streatham Redskins at Silver Blades on Sunday.
Andy Smith (pictured) hammered the opener for the hosts and Timms added the second before the end of the first period.
Timms grabbed his second and third either side of a Corey Watkins strike were swiftly followed by goals from Scott Beeson and Callum Fowler for a 7-0 lead before the end of the second frame.
Despite the visitors netting a consolation in the final frame, Watkins grabbed his second and Daniels Borges and Calitri completed the scoring.
The previous evening Borges impressed as Invicta secured an 11-3 win at Swindon Wildcats.
The Canadian forward scored five as Mos battled back from an early deficit to run riot against their hosts with seven goals flying in during the second frame alone.
Calitri had already been ejected for tussling before Andy Smith, Watkins (2), Fowler and Lennon found the net.
Mos remain second in ENIHL Division 1 South but closed the gap on leaders Wightlink Raiders to three points, having played three fewer games.
