Invicta Dynamos coach Kevin Parrish has signed Robbie Brown from English National Ice Hockey League South Division 1 champions Wightlink Raiders.
The 20-year-old Belfast-born forward played a prominent role in the Raiders' success, scoring 36 goals and adding 31 assists for a 67-point return from his 40 league appearances.
Parrish, pictured, said on the club's website: "Robbie is still very young and has masses of promise and I look forward to seeing him deliver here in Gillingham.
"He has the hunger to win, pace in abundance and the cool head needed to put the puck over the line and this was evident throughout last season as he played a major role in taking the ENIHL Southern Championship to the Isle of Wight.
"Hopefully now he can help us bring it back home."
Brown, who has signed a one-year contract, said: "Despite speculation, for me this isn't a switch motivated by money but more a chance to have a different experience at a new club."
He is the second new face at the Dynamos for next season, joining fellow former Raiders skater Richard Bentham.
