As temperatures in the county tip the high 20s this weekend, people across Kent are being urged to get out and enjoy the hot spell but to keep cool in the sun.
The Met Office says temperatures in the region tomorrow could hit 29 °C and that it will remain mostly sunny throughout the day and will get hotter in the afternoon.
On Sunday temperatures will be much the same, with plenty of sunshine and later conditions will become very warm and muggy overnight.
Cooler temperatures are set to move across the area by Tuesday and there are lots of events on this weekend to keep people entertained while enjoying the sunshine.
In Medway tomorrow thousands of people are expected to arrive in Chatham Maritime for the Battle of Medway commemorations climax.
The 350th anniversary of the Battle of Medway finale Medway in Flames event is being staged from 2pm along the banks of the River Medway.
There will be plenty to do for families including free water sports activities, a river extravaganza and fireworks display.
Families on tight budgets can embrace National Picnic Week, the humble picnic can be as down to earth as you like.

More than 70 shops and studios will be involved with specially curated performances and events, for visitors.
Or if you just want to be decide the seaside, why not pop down to Margate and enjoy the thrills of the many rides at Dreamland?
