Mourners wore pink to say goodbye to a "crazy, beautiful, larger-than-life" young mum as her family wait to find out why she died.

Jade Glen was found dead along with her unborn daughter - who she was going to call Dolly May - at her parents' home in Gillingham after being treated for a suspected blood clot.

More than 100 people gathered at The Garden of England Crematorium in Bobbing yesterday.

Everything about the funeral was arranged to suit 22-year-old Jade's personality.

As her family arrived in cars behind the hearse, her closest friends arrived in a bright pink limo.

The order of service was bright pink with a leopard print border and the songs played included Beautiful by Eminem and Run by Leona Lewis.

Life celebrant Maria Spark read the eulogy and spoke of Jade's larger-than-life character and why she was loved by so many people.

She also spoke about Jade's struggle with mental illness, but described how she had turned her life around since meeting partner Michael Arnold.

Jade was looking forward to the birth of her second child and being a family with Michael and young son Mickey, aged 18 months.

Her friend Will Davidson described her as his sister and best friend.

He said: "She was a nightmare, but she was our nightmare."

Mourners were asked to bring a single rose. As the final song, Rihanna's Diamonds, was played, people placed them on top of her cream coffin, alongside a pink and white display which spelt Mummy.

Jade was found dead on the bathroom floor at her parents home in Cobham Rise, Gillingham, on Monday, May 26. Her son Mickey was with her at the time.

Jade had been admitted to hospital at the beginning of May and treated for a suspected blood clot before being discharged eight days later.

She returned to hospital two days before she died because she was feeling unwell, but was sent home after being checked.

A post-mortem examination has proved inconclusive and further tests are being carried out the establish the cause of her death.

Medway Maritime Hospital is also conducting an investigation into Jade's care.
