A hair stylist from Strood will be working backstage at the final of the X Factor this weekend.
James Johnson, 20, has just finished training at a salon in London and is already mingling with the stars.
His boss is the head hairdresser for the ITV show so Jamie has been working with him for the past few weeks.
This weekend, as the final takes place at Wembley on Saturday and Sunday, Jamie will be styling the singers, as all the contestants who have appeared on the live shows return to appear in the final, as well as the dancers.
He has met Little Mix and Lady Gaga and styled Louis Walsh’s hair.
The former Math School pupil, of Goddington Road, said: “I've been lucky enough to experience some cool things over my two years training, but even better this year I've managed to get stuck in with the X Factor, where my boss is the head hairdresser on the show.
"Taking time out of my weekends, I've been lucky enough to go along Saturday and Sundays, to the Fountains Studios where the show is filmed and Wembley to help out with the contestants' and dancers' hair - I've even managed to help with Louis Walsh.
"During my time here I have not only learnt loads, seen a new side to TV and the backstage antics but have also met loads of music stars.”
He added: “I will be at Wembley on Saturday and all day Sunday. It is going to be hectic but I’m really looking forward to it.”
