Not one, but two Medway men danced their way across our screens as Strictly Come Dancing returns.
Boy band star Lee Ryan, who was born in Chatham, graced the stage last night.
The singer from Blue and former Eastenders actor did a celebratory dance as he was partnered up with Nadiya Bychkova.
Fellow contestant Dr Ranj Singh, also from the Towns, swapped his medic coat for a pink suit and was paired with his dancing partner, Janette Manrara.
The BAFTA award-winner, who is a resident doctor on ITV’s this morning and co-creator of CBeebies Get Well Soon, was born and grew up in Medway.
He went on to qualify as a doctor at Guy’s, King’s and St Thomas’ School of medicine in 2003 and now lives in London.
Dr Ranj said: “I'm so overwhelmed and excited to be part of this wonderful show.
“It's an absolute dream come true for me! I've been a massive fan for so long, and I can't quite believe this is happening, but I'm going to give it my best shot.
“Anyone that knows me knows that I love a bit of sparkle... so bring on the glitter! I can’t wait!”
