A digital influencer from Kent is one of 10 participants to feature in the latest Netflix show, Snowflake Mountain.
Rae Hume thought she was on her way to enjoy a relaxing retreat but instead got tricked into entering a brutal survival course.
The 25-year-old from Rochester is one of the show's 'snowflakes' – slang to describe anyone overly emotional, easily offended, and dramatic.
The cast, which includes other influencers, a "self-confessed Disney princess", and a "funemployed" 26-year-old who spends around £400 weekly on grooming, will compete for a cash prize while learning how to survive on their own at a brutal wild bootcamp.
Matt, a former army combat engineer, and Joel, a former Navy explosive ordinance disposal officer, will be in charge of teaching the youngsters the basics of adult life.
Rae, who has just over 2,300 Instagram followers, grew up in Kent and currently lives with her mum Jane Hume, who owns a boutique in Tollgate Lane, Strood, called Jane's Stall.
A Daily Mail article said the social media personality was still searching for her passion in life and lives for having fun, especially going on vacation with her friends.
She has tried multiple jobs over the years but was not motivated to stick with any of them.
Rae, who has described herself as "hopeless at adult life", said she doesn't think about the future or saves any money as she prefers to live in the moment.
Mum Jane told KentOnline she had no clue of what her daughter was up to.
She said: "I was just so worried and thinking what has she let herself in for.
"I haven't watched anything at all. I am literally in the dark as everybody else!
"They kept everything super secret and the only thing she would tell me is that she has been herself the entire time.
"So that's all that I needed to know and all that mattered to me as far as I could know."
Snowflake Mountain premieres on June 22 on Netflix.
