kmfm listener from Gillingham wins nearly £2,400 in Money Match competition

A kmfm listener is planning to pay off a few bills and head off on holiday after winning thousands of pounds.
Jackie Wood from Gillingham was left shocked after finding out she had won more than £2,300 in the station’s Money Match competition.
Since the beginning of September listeners have been trying to guess exactly how much the jackpot is to win it. All they knew was that the figure was somewhere between £100 and £4,000.
As listeners suggested an amount of money, they were told if their guess was higher or lower than the jackpot, helping those guessing get closer to the actual amount each time.
Jackie had been randomly chosen to play during presenter Andy Walker’s Daytime show and matched the 2,377.83 cash pool.
She said: “Are you joking? Have I won?”
She plans to spend the money on paying off some bills and a holiday with her husband Barry.
There is even more winning to come on kmfm when Thousand Pound Friday returns on September 27.
As well as competitions, the radio station is bringing back its Be Bright Be Seen campaign.
Listeners will have the chance to request high-vis keyrings to help keep children visible when walking to and from school during the autumn and winter months.
Listen to kmfm online, on your radio, or your smart speaker.
