Lane restrictions on Rochester Old Bridge to last for two weeks for essential repairs
10:00, 12 January 2015
Essential repairs to Rochester Bridge begin today and are expected to be completed within two weeks.
The work includes concrete andmetalwork repairs to the service area located at the Rochester end of the bridge.
Traffic management will be required, with the possibility of lane restrictions in place on the Strood-bound Old Bridge during this period.
Any restrictions will only take place during off-peak hours in order to minimise disruption to road-users.
