Vegans will be left disappointed as one of the only Greggs stores to sell the new vegan sausage rolls have not received their delivery.
Greggs at Moto Services, on the M2 junction 4/5 for Rainham, were supposed to launch the quorn-based snack today.
However the vegan sausage rolls did not arrive and are not expected to be delivered tonight or tomorrow.
kmfm breakfast presenters Garry and Laura toured Medway to find a Greggs which sold the roll.
Laura said: "We were absolutely gutted, we went to Strood, The Pentagon, Chatham High Street and none of them were selling them.
"They all said they were small chains and didn't get them.
"We were heartbroken, Garry and I are new to being vegetarian and we think sausage rolls are something we'd miss the most."
A list on the Greggs site says the only stores which supply sausage rolls in Kent were Farthing Corner Moto Services near Gillingham between at junction 4 and 5 on the M2 and MRH Cobham services, off the A2 near Gravesend.
Greggs have been contacted for a comment.
