Old Loughtonians won the match 5-2 and stay top of the table above Canterbury on goals difference. Holcombe sit fourth after the defeat.

Leroy Phillips opened the scoring for the hosts after 19 minutes and before the half-hour mark they had a three goal lead.

A penalty corner from Holcombe’s David Mathews (pictured) on the stroke of half-time reduced the deficit.

Two more goals for the Old Boys early in the second half put the game beyond Holcombe’s reach. They scored a consolation through Darrell Cassidy.
