Learner driver caught speeding at almost 100mph on M2 between Strood and Chatham

A learner driver was caught speeding at almost 100mph on the M2 in Medway this afternoon.
Kent Police's Roads Unit said an Audi was seen travelling at an average speed of 97mph between Junction 2 at Strood and Junction 3 at Chatham.
They said officers spoke with the driver who confirmed he was a provisional licence holder only, with no insurance.
The vehicle was seized and the driver issued with a speeding ticket.
