All Rise for the latest Strictly contestant to be announced.
Lee Ryan, who was born at All Saints' Hospital in Chatham, was revealed as the 12th contestant in this year's competition on BBC One.
Ryan will be up against comedian Sean Walsh, fellow popstar Faye Tozer and investigative journalist Stacey Dooley.
The announcement was made on Loose Women this lunchtime, where he said: "I was nervous even to say yes.
"I did [go to italia Conti] but I used to run out my dance lessons and hide in my singing lessons.
"Have you ever seen a Blue concert? We lean."
The Mirror reported earlier this month that he would appear in the show, which is expected to start in September.
