Crash near Gillingham on M2 coastbound at junction 4 for the A278 Hoath Way

Emergency services were sent to the scene of a three-vehicle crash on a motorway.
The accident happened on the M2 coast-bound at junction 4 for the A278, Hoath Way in Gillingham at around 10.30am.
One lane of the carriageway was closed.
Traffic was very heavy with long queues as people made their way to the coast for the bank holiday.
Police officers were also on the scene.
In a tweet they advised drivers to remain in their vehicles.
They also told them not to stand on the hard shoulder as this is for emergency services.
The scene was clear by 11am.
