Champions Lordswood narrowly missed out on their 12th win of the season in 17 matches in Division 1 of the Shepherd Neame Kent League.
They were held to a winning draw by Tenterden, who initially did well to restrict the prolific Lords’ batting line-up to 177 all out, opener Alan Pattenden (pictured) top scoring with 43.
But Chris Thompson and Darren Scott, who took three wickets apiece, then got to work when Tenterden replied and the visitors were left hanging on for a draw at 157-9.
Rainham held on for a draw against second-placed Old Elthamians in Division 4. Thomas Burns took 4-57 to help restrict OEs to 220-9, and their run chase started well enough thanks to Andy Parkinson (35) and Jonathan Prince (32), who put on 67.
But once the top pair and No.3 Phil Bellars (34) had departed, no other batsman was able to pick up the baton and Rainham finished on 211-9.
