Icy weather caused problems for motorists on the M2 this morning (Monday) with three separate collisions closing part of the motorway.
The first accident on a stretch of the carriageway in Strood, happened at 7.20am after a vehicle crashed into the central reservation.
Two other cars were then involved in separate, single vehicle accidents causing police to close the road.
A spokesman for Kent Police said the road was slippery and a gritter has been called in to prevent any further accidents.
