Maidstone United manager boss Jay Saunders makes signings as he prepares for promotion bid next season

Maidstone boss Jay Saunders has continued his rebuild after being tasked to oversee the Stones’ immediate return to the Ryman League, Premier Division.
Saunders (pictured) has already re-signed winger Ellis Green and has swooped for Sittingbourne centre-back and player-of-the-year Nick Reeves.
Meanwhile, club director Terry Casey told supporters via the club website: "Next season will throw up different challenges for the players and management as there is now an expectancy that we will win promotion at the first attempt and the promotion will coincide with our return to Maidstone.
"I share that expectancy and there should be no excuses for any failure."
Stones will visit AFC Hornchurch on August 13, with the league season starting the following weekend.
Work on building an electricity substation at Whatman Way is due to begin in August.
