Little ones will be making a splash this week when award-winning swimming lessons come to Medway for the first time.
Water Babies classes start at Spirit Health Club at Holiday Inn, Chatham, tomorrow and Thursday, and there are still some places left.
The sessions are designed for children under one who have not been to swimming lessons before.
Water Babies classes, which have won multiple awards from What’s On for Little Ones and Tommy’s, are designed to make the most of babies’ natural affinity with water and teach confidence and safety, with the goal of teaching parents how to teach their babies to swim.
Simon Dallender, who runs Water Babies classes across Kent, said: “We are delighted to be bringing Water Babies to Medway.
Our classes offer mums and dads a wonderful opportunity to teach their babies, from only weeks old, essential water skills as well as being a fantastic bonding experience.”
The classes are on Tuesdays at 10am, 10,30am, 11am and 11.30am, and Thursdays at 12.30pm, 1pm and 1.30pm.
Messenger reporter Jenni Horn will be joining the lessons with her 10 month old son Max and keeping readers updated on their progress.
Water Babies is also running sessions for toddlers who have never had swimming lessons before, also on Thursdays at Holiday Inn.
