Gillingham man, 80, charged with multiple gun offences

An 80-year-old man has appeared in court after police found 10 guns at a property.
Paul Bushell has been charged with multiple firearms offences following a search of a house in the Gillingham Park area.
It comes after officers from the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate carried out a warrant at the property on Thursday, August 31.
They seized numerous weapons including revolvers, air pistols, an air rifle and ammunition.
Bushell was arrested and has since been charged with 10 counts relating to the possession of prohibited firearms.
He has also been charged with one count of possession of ammunition.
Bushell appeared at Medway Magistrates’ Court on Friday, September 1.
He is next due to appear at Maidstone Crown Court on Friday, September 29.
