A man has been appeared in court after children were allegedly brought from London to Chatham with the intention of using them to deal drugs.
Daniel Garcia, previously of Morton Gardens, Wallington, south London, has been charged with three counts of facilitating the travel of a person with a view to exploit them.
The 33-year-old was charged on Tuesday, December 1 and appeared at Folkestone Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, December 3.
He was remanded in custody and is due before Maidstone Crown Court on Friday, January 15.
The charges come after an investigation into the exploitation of children who became involved in a county lines drug supply chain.
