A pervert from Medway has admitted stalking Radio 2 DJ Sara Cox and being in possession and making indecent images.
Antony Collins, 49, appeared before magistrates in Medway on Saturday after being arrested on Friday for sending Ms Cox disturbing letters.
Collins, of Afghan Road, Chatham, pleaded guilty to harassment in relation to sending letters to the music star.
He also admitted two counts of being in possession of indecent images and two counts of making indecent images of children.
The court heard how Collins sent letters to Sara Cyzer, otherwise known as Sara Cox, which were said to be 'disturbing'.
After Collins was arrested and police searched his home, a forged BBC pass was found inside.
When his computer was looked at by police Collins was found to have done a Google search and had accessed the address of the DJ’s father.
Officers also found the indecent images at his home.
The court also heard Collins sent letters to Ms Cox’s sister, brother and husband, but he had not been charged in connection with these letters.
Magistrates decided to adjourn sentencing for a pre-sentencing report to be carried out on him by probation officers and Collins was remanded in custody until then.
The bench asked for an all-options report to be prepared including sending the case to crown court to be dealt with.
Collins will next appear at the same court via video link on Tuesday, February 28.
