Man arrested for affray after armed police descend on Conifer Drive in Lordswood, Chatham

Armed police descended on a residential street in Chatham on Saturday evening.
Officers arrived in Conifer Drive, Lordwood, at around 4.15pm following reports of concerns for a person's welfare.
It was reported that threats had been made and a 33-year-old man from Chatham was arrested on suspicion of affray. He remains in custody.
Four police cars and an ambulance were pictured at the scene at just gone 4.30pm.
