A man has been charged with causing a serious injury while driving dangerously following an alleged road rage incident in Medway.
Lee Smith, 55, was arrested after another man was taken to hospital after apparently being hit by a car in Cuxton, in October.
The emergency services were called out to the road at about 7.35pm on Tuesday, October 25, to a reports of a collision and dispute between two drivers.
A passer-by, who did not wish to be named, said they saw a person lying in the middle of the road surrounded by a group of people.
At the time, a 50-year-old man was to Medway Maritime Hospital in Gillingham with leg and arm injuries and Smith, of Freelands Road, Snodland, was arrested on suspicion of assault and later released on bail.
Police say they have now charged Smith with causing serious injury by dangerous driving following the incident on the A228 Cuxton Road.
Smith has been bailed to appear before magistrates in Medway on Wednesday, February 8.
