Mark Clements from Maidstone charged with 10 offences after police pursuit in Medway

A man has been charged after a police chase.
Mark Clements, 33, of Fairmeadow, Maidstone, was arrested at the weekend after a stolen car was spotted in the Richmond Road area of Gillingham just before 8pm.
He made off but was soon stopped by officers in Boundary Road, Chatham, on Saturday.
Police spokesman James Walker said: "A pursuit took place and Clements was later arrested on suspicion of theft and dangerous driving."
He has since been charged with attempting to cause grievous bodily harm with intent, dangerous driving without a license and insurance, criminal damage and failing to stop when requested by police.
He remains in custody and will appear at Medway Magistrates' Court today.
