Ovidu Spilca of Chatham fined for drink driving after a two car collision in Darenth

A man has been fined over £700 for drink driving after a car crash which injured three people.
Ovidu Spilca, 41, of Burma Way, Chatham, appeared in Medway Magistrates Court on Tuesday for drink driving and driving without due care.
The two car collision happened at 7.38pm on Saturday, October 27 on the A282 coast bound lane near Darenth.
Emergency services were in attendance and Ambulance crews treated three people at the scene.
Spilca was arrested on suspicion of drink driving.
Magistrates have banned him from driving for 22 months to be reduced by 175 days if he completes a driving course.
Spilca was ordered to pay £369 for drink driving and £369 for driving without due care.
