Man charged after arrest in Chatham for drug offences

A 22-year-old man has been charged with drug offences after fleeing from the police.
Emmanuel Marshalleck, of Birchend Close, South Croydon, was arrested on Monday January 15 at 12pm in Luton Road, Chatham.
Officers were patrolling the area in their vehicle when they saw the man, who fled the scene.
Police chased him on foot, arresting him in a nearby road.
Police found what was believed to be crack cocaine contained inside a bag as well as messages on a mobile phone, and was charged with intent to supply cocaine and offering to supply cocaine.
He appeared before Medway Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday January 16 where he was remanded and is due to appear at Maidstone Crown Court on Tuesday February 13.
