An alleged drug dealer has been charged with three offences after police stopped a car.
The vehicle, a silver Ford Focus, was stopped in Kingston Crescent, Lordswood , on the afternoon of October 22 when suspicions were raised it was involved in supplying drugs.
A number of mobile phones were seized as a result of the stop and, following further inquires, Elias Balogun was charged with being concerned in the supply of heroin and crack cocaine.
The 23-year-old, of no fixed address, was also charged with obstructing an authorised person from carrying out a search.
Following an appearance at Medway Magistrates’ Court, he has been remanded in custody to next appear at the same court by November 6.
